GWO: Basic Safety Training – Manual Handling

Course Objectives:

GWO Manual Handling provides an awareness of positive manual handling behaviour. Participants will learn to perform manual handling activities in a safe manner in the wind industry.

Delegates completing this training course will be able to;
– Demonstrate correct manual handling techniques
– Understand the risks involved in not using correct manual handling techniques

Prerequisites:

All participants are required to have their personal WINDA registration number. Registration can be completed at the following link: https://winda.globalwindsafety.org/ When registering you need to do so as a COURSE PARTICIPANT and you must use your personal email address to create your profile. Please email your WINDA number to oatc.co.za before you come and do your course.

Fitness:

A good standard of general fitness is required – participants will complete a medical fitness questionnaire at the centre at the commencement of the courses.
